For vehicles that won’t roll: seized brakes, a locked gearbox, collision damage, or a non-runner stuck in a tight spot. Place the dolly around the tyre and work the foot pedal. The roller arms close in on the tyre and lift the wheel clear of the ground, so you don’t need a floor jack.
With both wheels lifted, the vehicle rolls freely. You can winch it onto a tilt tray, line it up on a transporter or move it around a workshop.
How it works
- Place the dolly around the tyre.
- Pump the foot pedal. The arms close on the tyre and lift the wheel using the vehicle’s own weight.
- Repeat on the second wheel and move the vehicle.

Comparing prices?
Other sellers often show the price for one dolly, but you always need two. To keep it simple, our price is for the pair.
Which dolly do I need?
Self-loading dollies are the quickest option when you can’t get a jack under the car. For heavier vans and light commercials there are the heavy duty roller dollies, for everyday cars the lightweight roller dollies, and for sliding a car sideways in a tight space Slippery Jim’s vehicle skates.
