Recovery equipment from AL Recovery & Transport
AL Recovery & Transport is a vehicle recovery and transport company based in Dundalk, Co. Louth. This shop sells the equipment recovery and transport work depends on: kit for moving cars with locked wheels, winching vehicles onto a truck or trailer, and strapping them down safely for the journey.
Winches and snatch blocks
Our 12V electric recovery winches come in 4,500lb and 13,500lb pulling capacities. The 13,500lb winch is available with synthetic rope or steel rope. Car dollies and vehicle skates
Recovery dollies go under the wheels of a car that can't be driven or steered, so it can be rolled out of a car park, garage or tight spot. We stock a heavy duty roller dolly, a lightweight roller dolly and a heavy duty self-loading dolly with a foot-operated lift, so no separate jack is needed. Recovery straps
Our recovery straps include ratchet strap kits in hi-viz green, hi-viz yellow and purple, red finger hook wheel straps and over wheel straps for securing cars on a truck bed or trailer. There's also an axle strap, a soft eye diverter strap and a Y strap for spectacle lift frames. J hooks and towing accessories
We sell 300mm J hooks and J hook assemblies on chain or webbing for winching vehicles.
Delivery across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Great Britain
We ship orders within two to three working days. For an update on your order, message us on WhatsApp. Parcels up to 30kg go by An Post, and heavier items, like the 13,500lb steel rope winch, go on a pallet to addresses in Ireland and Northern Ireland. We also send parcels to EU countries. For a heavy item going to Great Britain or the EU, contact us and we'll quote the delivery. You'll always see the full delivery cost at checkout before you pay. Shop questions
How quickly do you send orders? We ship orders within two to three working days, Monday to Friday, not including Irish bank holidays. You'll get an email when it's dispatched, with tracking where the delivery service provides it.
How are heavy items delivered? Parcels up to 30 kg go by An Post. Dolly and skate sets too heavy for one parcel go as two parcels. Single items over 30 kg, like our heaviest winches, go on a pallet with our courier to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
How much is delivery? You'll see the full delivery charge at checkout before you pay. To the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, delivery is capped at €50 including VAT per order.
Do you show prices without VAT? Yes. Every product shows the price including VAT and the price ex VAT.
